Ultraman Orb The Origin Saga is a Japanese superhero television series created by Tsuburaya Productions. The series was released in Japan in 2016 and made its way to American audiences through Shout! Factory TV. This science fiction, action-adventure series takes place in a parallel universe where giant monsters threaten the peace of Earth, and it is up to Ultraman Orb to save the day. Ultraman Orb is an alien hero who can transform into a human host and fight off these monsters using his incredible strength and otherworldly powers.

The Origin Saga is a prequel to the Ultraman Orb series and follows the origins of Gai Kurenai, a human host for Ultraman Orb, and Jugglus Juggler, a mysterious villain. The show is set in ancient Japan, where a powerful king reigns over the land, and a group of warrior protectors called the Kushia protect the kingdom from dark forces. The series follows Gai Kurenai, a descendant of the Kushia, who seeks to protect the kingdom from an evil king who seeks to use the power of the Dark Corner, a mysterious force that can corrupt anything it touches.

The show begins with Gai Kurenai and Jugglus Juggler as young children, training to become warriors. They are both skilled fighters, but Jugglus Juggler is always in the shadow of Gai Kurenai, who everyone considers the stronger warrior. As they grow older, they become rivals and eventually enemies, as Jugglus Juggler is consumed by his lust for power and revenge.

Along the way, Gai Kurenai meets a girl named Sade Kei, who is the princess of the kingdom. They form a close bond, and Gai Kurenai becomes her protector when they learn of the evil king's plans. Gai Kurenai, Sade Kei, and the Kushia fight to keep the Dark Corner out of the hands of the evil king and protect the kingdom from his dark magic. Jugglus Juggler, now a villain, seeks to claim the power of the Dark Corner for himself and take revenge on Gai Kurenai.

The show is visually stunning, with elaborate sets and costumes that transport the viewer back to ancient Japan. The fight scenes are intense, and the special effects used to create the giant monsters and otherworldly powers are top-notch. The show is well written, with complex characters and intricate storylines that keep the viewer engaged.

The acting is superb, with Hideo Ishiguro playing the role of Gai Kurenai to perfection. His portrayal of the heroic warrior who seeks to protect his loved ones and his people is both nuanced and compelling. Takaya Aoyagi plays Jugglus Juggler with equal precision, showing both the character's vulnerability and his descent into madness.

All in all, Ultraman Orb The Origin Saga is a must-watch for fans of the Ultraman franchise and fans of Japanese sci-fi and fantasy in general. The show has everything fans of the genre could want, from intense action sequences to a well-written script with complex characters. Gai suspects that they are sensing the pain of Queen Bezelve under Psychi's control, and makes his way to Psychi to confirm his suspicion.

To prevent the Tree of Life and its seeds which hold the cure to the Bezelve poison from falling into evil hands, the War Deity is forced to fire a beam and destroy it. Psychi laments the failure of his plan, but then detects the sudden growth of another Tree of Life, recently excavated from a ruin on the third planet in the solar system, Earth. He jumps to action.

Psychi goes along with the negotiations, but it's all a deception as he poisons the War Deity with a powerful toxin. The War Deity is saved by the seed of a fruit from the Tree of Life. Orb, Dyna, and Juggler's hard-won battle has freed the queen of the painful toxin.

A War Deity stands to meet the Bezelve horde's onslaught. Psychi watches over the developments smugly, and as for Queen Bezelve... Gai makes an attempt to help the queen as Orb, but Asuka stops him. Musashi says that since the queen's fight is not one of attack, but rather one born from the pure desire to stand up to defend and protect her people, they can do nothing but watch over the battle.
