TAC rescues a young Alien Simon from a flying saucer crash site. However, the young alien is a disguise created by the Yapool remnants. Hokuto faces the threatening Yapool head-on, and decides to reveal his true identity and leave planet Earth once and for all. Ace's final fierce battle begins!

A boy named Haruo is forced to take violin lessons by his mother. Haruo tries breaking his violin in protest, but then the violin turns into Terrible-Monster Geegon. By playing beautiful melodies, it sucks up peoples souls and it gradually ups its size from violin to cello, to double bass.

While on patrol, Hokuto gets in a traffic accident with Yuki, who runs a fruits and vegetable shop. Both accuses the other of ignoring the traffic light. This is only the start of Alien Leborl's invasion plan. The incident is soon followed by a series of mysterious traffic light malfunctions.

A mysterious woman arrives in a mountainous village. TAC visits the village for an investigation, but they are almost burned alive by the villagers. Hokuto suffers from a toothache and has a nightmare about being attacked out of revenge by Terrible-Monster Verokron. Right after this dream, he witnesses a phantom of Verokron. Satellite Jupiter 2 falls on a gas tank. The satellite is filled with Terrible-Monster Gasgegon's eggs. Attacking a terrible-monster filled with gas is not a good idea. TAC and Ace come up with a plan to blow up the terrible-monster in outer space.

On Setsubun day, Hokuto eats a red bean, and is infected by a strange disease that causes him to radically lose his muscle strength. This is all a clever plan that has been laid out by Terrible-Monster Onidevil. The diseased Ace is no match against the Onidevil, and after the losing, he heads to Nebula M78 for treatment.

January 26, 1973
While on vacation at a ski resort, Hokuto hears an eyewitness report of a yeti. This is no yeti though. It's Terrible-Monster Fubugirara that has come from a blizzard planet. Fubugirara freezes the ski grounds with strong icy winds, and with Ace's beams doing no damage it proves to be a formidable opponent.

A father and a daughter are attacked by the terrible-monster Iceron in Iida Pass. The girl, Koyuki, goes down into the valley to find her father who fell while covering her. Then, much to their despair, the terrible-monster shows up again. Just as all hope is lost, Monster Woo shows up to save the day.

Shinta has a father who is a master Shishimai dancer. Kashima tries saving them at the risk of his own life.

Yukio wets his bed every time he is attacked by a terrible-monster in his dreams. After an unsuccessful investigation Hokuto scolds Yukio, but the boy is right and the terrible-monster does exist. Hokuto grieves about hurting the boy's feelings. Then, Zoffy makes an appearance.

Hokuto, while on an investigation about a sunken tanker, meets a young boy named Yuji who is collecting sea shells on the beach. Yuji believes his sister's words that his father, the captain of the sunken tanker, would return home once he collects a thousand shells. These shells, however, were no ordinary shells. They were the scales of Terrible-Monster Uroko, angered by seabed pollution.

A rumor spreads that children who ride the Balloon "Baron" become good kids, but this is all the plot of a terrible-monster.
