March 31, 1972
The Ultraman Annihilation Project has been triggered, with the declaration of war by the Planet Bat Federal Army! On Earth, Alien Bat kidnapped Jiro and Rumiko, and gave fatal damage to the MAT base by destroying the nuclear reactor inside it. In such despair situation, Go transforms into Ultraman and confronts the old enemy: Zetton!

The Underground Science Center was attacked by an unknown force. Later, news reported the suicide of Professor Koizumi. MAT member Ueno, who was also a student of the professor, could not believe the news. He met with Professor Koizumi's daughter and decided to investigate it together, but the professor's daughter kept running into life threatening events.
49. Return Of Ultraman: S1 E49 - Mat Is The Name Of Space Warriors
March 17, 1972
Go met the former ace Attack Squadron member of Planet Mysteler. The alien had escaped from the war in his home planet and lived peacefully on Earth, but was found by his former captain. The captain took his daughter as hostage to make him fight against Ultraman. The real goal of the captain was to kidnap Ultraman and MAT to become soldiers of his army! Fight back, Go!
48. Return Of Ultraman: S1 E48 - We'll Take Earth!
March 10, 1972
Masaru, a friend of Jiro, was absence from school the day when he found a strange capsule. Inside the capsule there was the monster Yametarans, which was drawn by Masaru. Yametarans spreaded a virus that would make people lose their will of doing anything, and people in town including MAT got infected. Behind the incident, it was the Earth invation plan made by Alien Sasahiler!
47. Return Of Ultraman: S1 E47 - The Marked Woman
March 3, 1972
Oka made a lot of mistaked in work. While Go and Minami was missing from work, Captain Ibuki still gaver her a one-month off. Monster Femigon appeared in the Petroleum Industrial Complex and MAT fought against it with only 3 members. While Oka was back home, her mother found her strange as she smelt like oil. When the monster appeared again, Oka was also found missing from her house.
46. Return Of Ultraman: S1 E46 - Fill This Blow With Anger
February 25, 1972
An old picture-storyteller showed young boy Tetsu a story of the battle between MAT and monster Redkiller. After that, they went on a walk together. Whhen he sees Go patrolling in the MAT Vehicle, the old picture-storyteller pushed Tetsu off the bridge to fake it as a car accident. He accused Go of injuring the boy, and led Go into suspension. It was all part of Alien Zoole's plan!

In a battle with monster Robonez, Ultraman won but indured his arm. Go was told to rest and cancelled his trip, but the plane he was supposed to board exploded. Later, a girl named Erika Shiratori transfered to Jiro's class, and presented him with a pen. The pen, however, is a carefully disguised time bomb...

2 days before Kishida could finish the in developing Ultra Long Range Radar, he and Go found a car on fire and saved the girl Akane from it. Kishida fell in lover with her and even decides to marry her, but Akane suddenly turned down all his visits. It was later detected that she was an alien from Planet Centaurus sent to destoy the Radar. But now, she has also fell in love with Kishida...

When Captain Ibuki finally gets his vacation for the first time in three years, he goes on a trip with his wife Yoko and daughter Minako. However, Alien Grotes sees this as an opportunity to kill Ibuki and destroy MAT. Alien Grotes summons Kodaigon, and manages to kidnap Ibuki's family during the mess created by the monster. To get his family back, MAT was told to destroy their headquarters!

Traffic accidents has been occuring frequently around Mt. Fuji. When Go went for inverstigation, he nearly involved a car accident himself. The cause was Raragon, a monster that can create mirages. When MAT tries to attack the monster, they were interfered by Alian Stora, the mastermind behind Paragon.
41. Return Of Ultraman: S1 E41 - Revenge Of Alien Baltan Jr.
January 21, 1972
Jiro was lying in bed for his cold before a call from his dead brother Ken woke him up and led him to the balcony, where he witnessed a shooting star falling to a builing, along with a shadow of Alien Baltan. He asked Susumu, a friend who is familiar with architecture, but he was abducted by Alien Baltan. It is all part of "Operation Billgamo" planned by Alien Baltan Jr.

Young couples are mysterious going missing in the snowy mountains. MAT discorvered that the administrator of the mountain hut and her granddaughter are related to the incidents. They true identities turn out to be Freezing Phantom Alien Black and Snow Woman Monster Snowgon! Ultraman suffers from their freeze attack!
39. Return Of Ultraman: S1 E39 - Winter Horror Series - Twentieth Century Abominable Snowman

Hideo Tsumura and Yoko Kataoka were a couple who's dedicated to the research of Yetis. When they finally found a figure that seemed to be a Yeti, Hideo went missing. While Go was asking Yoko about the incident, Hideo came back but had an extra-low body temperature. Hideo was possessed byAlien Varduck!

December 24, 1971
Alien Nackle attacked MAT Station V1 with his spaceships. With Saturn Z in hand, he declared attack on Earth and requested unconditional surrender from humans. On the other hand, Ultraman was convoyed to Planet Nackle for execution. The two who came to save Ultraman were Hayata and Dan Moroboshi! With his power regained, Ultraman went back to Earth for a return match!

Disguising himself as a staff of the Space Radio Wave Laboratory, Alien Nackle wanted to get Ultraman out of his way of Earth invasion. First, he revived monsters to analyse Ultraman's specs and powers, then he robbed MAT's newly invented gunpowder Saturn Z. Last of all, in order to disrupt Go's mind, he started a very dirty plan...

MAT was integrating a woman who emmitted mysterious radio waves. The woman visited a friend, sucked her blood and escaped. It was found out the the woman was supposed to be dead in a holiday cottage and her body was manipulated by Alien Draculas! Confronting Go, Draculas said that Ultraman was the one who's betraying the other aliens by being an ally of human.

December 3, 1971
Boats and lighthouses were dissapearing one by one. Go and Sakada had a feeling of something was coming towards Japan and went to the sea. When it came to the night, monster Prizuma appeared and revealed its power to be absorbing light! MAT started an operation to lure Prizuma out and freeze it in absolute zero.

Go reunites with his old classmate Mizuno at Sakata's factory. While Jiro delivers an experimental tool asked by Mizuno, Jiro was told that he is mutating a new lifeform synthesized from animal and plant. That night, the experiment successed and a new lifeform named Leogon was born. However, Leogon soon turned into a giant monster and escaped the laboratory...

A young boy Ryo, who lives in an abandoned house near the river, was persecuted for rumoured being an alien with supernatural powers. The truth is he is living with Alien Meits, an environment investigator from outer space. However, despite doing no harm to human, Alien Meits was cruelly murdered by villagers with fear. Upon its death, monster Mururchi appears in a heavy rain.

MAT was investigating the frequently occurred earthquakes in Mt. Ryujin. Go went on an investigation for Ryujin Tunnel after knowing the accident happened in the tunnel 10 years ago. An earthquake happened again and Go lost his consciousness in a collapse. Monster Kingmaimai, the cause of the earthquakes, appeared and was taken down by MAT! That's what it seemed to be...

Captain Ibuki's daughter, Minako, came to the MAT headquarters with her deaf friend, Teruo. However, Teruo's true identity was Alien Zeran and declared war on Go through telepathy. Go exposed Teruo's identity, but is suspended instead. To regain trust from Ibuki, Go told him that a monster will appear near the hospital. Later, the monster really appears...

Jiro and his older brother Ken get lost while going hiking in Mt. Daio. They meet a friendly villager and lodge at his place with geological scientists. Next day, they together visit a graveyard filled with buffalo bones. The scientists pick up bones and take them with themselves although others discourage them from doing so. Ken worries that monster Oxter might be protecting the bones...

Jiro found a locked box at his friend Yoshiko's house and brought it back to his place without permission. Furthermore, Go took it with him during a check on Space Station No. 5, where he eventually forgot about the box and left it. When Hideki came back to the MAT base, he learns that no signal is coming from the space station!

A mysterious typhoon that has been occuring and disappearing randomly finally hit Japan. The reason behind it is Typhoon Monster Varricane! MAT shot tranquilizing guns to capture the monster, but Varricane regained its power by absorbing electricity from the high-voltage line and summoned a powerful Typhoon!

Go meets a boxer Saburo, who is preparing for his final match. Saburo witnesses Go was doing Ultra Kick and pleads him to coach him on the skill. Meanwhile, Gronken starts rampaging the city, and Hideki rushes to the site with other MAT members. While Ultraman Jack is wrestling against the monster, Saburo also fights on the boxing ring. Witness the fight of two men!

A space insect that was mixed in a meteorite made its arrived to Earth. Days later, incidents of human dissappearing happened in the city. MAT started their investigation believing the crime was made by lazer gun, but the real criminal was the stag beetle that's popular among the kids! Suddenly, the stag beetle became large and turn into monster Nokogilin.

Concrete materials flew away at a construction site. At the same time, a mysterious crustal movement happened in Aino Village, where the concrete materials where made. It turns out that there is an island-sized meteorite from Planet Zagoras buried under the villiage, and the village is pulled out by the gravity force caused by the approach of the planet!
24. Return Of Ultraman: S1 E24 - Horror! Birth Of The Apartment Monster
September 17, 1971
A little space monster Kupukupu fell in Shinshu. MAT captures it and decides to destroy it before it grows violent. When they kill it, a young boy Akio gets a fragment of Kupukupu's body and takes it back home. The piece melts into the wall of the boy's room and becomes a giant monster - Kingstron!
23. Return Of Ultraman: S1 E23 - Spit Out The Stars, Dark Monster!
September 10, 1971
On a day of total eclipse, Go met a mysterious woman named Junko Nanjo. She predicted that the Big Dipper will dissappear and it happened later that night. Oka visited Junko's place for investigation, and Junko predicted that the next constellation to be eaten will be the Cancer! Zanika, the monster born in the Cancer somehow survived the disaster, is now coming to Earth...
22. Return Of Ultraman: S1 E22 - Leave This Monster To Me
September 3, 1971
Captain Kato was transferred to the Space Station. While MAT was waiting to welcome their new captain Ibuki, a conflagration happened in Yumenoshima. On Go's decision, they extinguished the conflagration using extinguishing fluid. Right after the affair, they had a call from Ibuki warning them that extinguishing fluid shouldn't be used, as there was a plastic-eating monster underground!
21. Return Of Ultraman: S1 E21 - The Monster Channel
August 27, 1971
A clip of airplant explosion was shown on TV in midnight. The broadcaster was Electric Wave Monster Beakon, who had the ability to absorb electric waves from the sky and send it to moniters all over the world, similar to a broadcasting network. MAT have to induce the monster away from Tokyo...
20. Return Of Ultraman: S1 E20 - The Monster Is A Shooting Star In Space
August 20, 1971
Go was investigating the frequently occurred accidents of airplanes. The reason seemed to be the overconcentration of the geomagnetic field in Kumazawa Dam. Monster Magnedon appeared near Kumazawa Dam, and was defeated by MAT. However, it was soon revived and MAT was asked to take the responsibility. To save MAT from dissolution, Go has to defeat the monster completely with his injured body.
19. Return Of Ultraman: S1 E19 - The Invisible Giant Monster From Outer Space
August 13, 1971
Jiro, who is looking after the school's rabbit with his friends during the summer vacation, discovered a meteorite. The meteorite was left at school, but later grew into a invisible giant monster. MAT identified the monster as Sartan, but struggled to deal with its power to penetrate buildings.

August 6, 1971
The MAT Space Station and its captain Kaji, who is Captain Kato's close friend, was swallowed by the monster Bemstar. Kado gave out orders to attack Bemstar for avenge, but the Great Space Monster from the Crab Nebula is more troublesome than he'd imagined. Even Ultraman's fatal attack is ineffective against it!
17. Return Of Ultraman: S1 E17 - Monster Bird Terochilus - Big Air Raid Of Tokyo

Terochilus ran away from the battle with Ultraman and headed towards the "Silver Castle", the nest built in downtown Tokyo by Terochilus. At the same time, Saburo escaped from the police, took Yukiko away from hospital and hided in the "Silver Castle". The police and MAT have to rescue them!

Saburo Matsumoto and Yukiko Ono grew up together, but Yukiko was going to be married. Saburo felt envious and planned to blow up the yacht in the middle of the shipboard party. However, monstrous bird Terochilus flew to the yacht and blew it up before Saburo had the chance to do it. Days later in Tokyo, white flakes fell from the sky...

Jiro's schoolmate Shiro became a liar ever since his father died in an accident. He claimed that his father was killed by monster Eledortus, something that nobody believed in. At the same time, a monster with the ability of absorbing electricity appeared. That monster is Eledortus!

After repulsing the giant tsunami created by Seamons and Seagorath, Ultraman was left with little energy and had to retreat. On the other hand, the result of the analysis of "The Song of Seamons" proved innocence of Captain Takamura, but he still faced difficulties returning to the society. To repel Seamons and Seagorath from Tokyo, MAT had to develope a new weapon as soon as possible.

A vessel transporting gemstones was attacked by legendary monster Seamons and sunk into the sea. Captain Takamura was liable for the case, but his memory was lost. MAT started making analysis of "The Song of Seamons" sung by Captain Takamura before the incident, hoping to get some clues. However, Seamons appeared with Seagorath and together they created a great tsunami!

While MAT was under special traing, a group of young men on motorbikes were attacked by monster Shugaron. They were mocking Shizuka, the only daughter of the famous painter Ushiyama, before being attacked. Is the monster Shugaron protecting Shizuka? Will Shugaron be possible to have the spirit of the painter Ushiyama?

A filming team met an accident during filming on location. Kishida was horrified, after he heard the accident was caused by the Yellow Gas, a secret weapon Kishida's father once helped develop for the Armed Forces of the Empire of Japan.
10. Return Of Ultraman: S1 E10 - Dinosaur Detonation Order
June 4, 1971
Kids were excited about the giant dinosaur fossil discovered from the construction site, but the fossil was blown up by the site manager in a rush. Strong dissolver blew out from the fossil and melted the field workers. Moreover, the fossil was revived as monster Stegon by the shock of the explosion. Knowing how the dinosaur was beloved by the kids, Go and Minami felt hard to attack it.
9. Return Of Ultraman: S1 E9 - Monster Island S.O.S.
May 28, 1971
Go was sent on a mission to receive the high-spec monster detector developed by the technology division of MAT located in New York. Knowing that the mission was on the same day of Jiro's birthday, Minami secretly substituted for Go and flew away by MAT Arrow. However, contact with Minami was lost from then. Feeling responsible for Minami's missing, Go tries his best to save him!
8. Return Of Ultraman: S1 E8 - Monster Time Bomb
May 21, 1971
Monster Ghostron appeared and MAT made its sally rapidly. Accidently, Go casted the X Bomb into the tail of Ghostron. X Bomb was a time bomb and it there was only 10 hours left before its explosion. Out of all places, Ghostron decided to take a nap in front of the dynamite factory! In order to avoid the worst case scenario, MAT have to think up of a way to move the monster...
7. Return Of Ultraman: S1 E7 - Operation Monster Rainbow
May 14, 1971
Go went hiking with the Sakada brothers and had plently of fun. The memorial photo they took showed there was a monster. It was Gorbagos, the monster with the ability of changing its skin color to camouflage itself. In order to locate Gorbagos, MAT started the Operation Rainbow, which is to paint the monster with color!
6. Return Of Ultraman: S1 E6 - Battle! The Monsters Vs Mat
May 7, 1971
Ultraman lost against the two giant monsters. After MAT's MN Bomb didn't work out, Commander Kishida decided to use "Spiner", a weapon with the power of a mini hydrogen bomb. Captain Kato strongly fought agianst the idea because if Sniper was used, Tokyo will be destroyed. MAT started an operation not involving Sniper, but if they failed, the team wil be dissolved.
5. Return Of Ultraman: S1 E5 - Two Giant Monsters Attack Tokyo
April 30, 1971
A rock-like object was found in a construction side. While Go and Kishida were arguing about how to deal with it, Underground Monster Gudon appeared in a quarry. On the other hand, Ancient Monster Twintail came out of the rock-like object, bringing panic to Tokyo's Shinjuku, the subcenter of Tokyo. Go transforms into Ultraman to fight Twintail, until Gudon came as well...
4. Return Of Ultraman: S1 E4 - Fatal Attack! Meteor Kick
April 23, 1971
Ancient Monster Kingsaurus III appeared near the No. 1 Nuclear Power Plant. Go fought as Ultraman but his super attack was not effective. The only way to defear Kingsaurus III is to acquire a kick that could jump over the barrier made by the monster. With the help of Sakada, Go started his intensive training.
3. Return Of Ultraman: S1 E3 - Evil Monster Realm Of Terror
April 16, 1971
Go heard a monster's roar during a patrol over Mt. Kirifuki. However, the roar could only be heard by Go because of his extrasensory. Ueno, who was riding with Go, did not hear the sound and started an arguement with Go. To find out the truth, Captain Kato went for Mt. Kirifuki alone and there appeared monster Sadora. Kato is in danger!
2. Return Of Ultraman: S1 E2 - Takkong's Great Counterattack
April 9, 1971
The monster Takkong appeared again! Go became overconfidence after gaining the power of Ultraman and disobeyed the captain's orders, only led to the escape of Takkong. Expulsed by MAT, he returned to Sakada Car Factory, but is welcomed coldly by Sakada. This made Go realize his arrogance.
