The Strip is a fast-paced, action-packed drama series that premiered on the Nine Network in 2008. The show is set in the Gold Coast, a popular holiday destination in Australia that is known for its beaches, high-rise buildings, and bustling nightlife. The Strip follows the lives of the detectives of the Gold Coast's Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB) as they solve crimes and deal with the challenges of their personal lives. The main character of the show is Jack Cross, played by Aaron Jeffery. Jack is a highly skilled detective who is always on the lookout for the next big case. He is a bit of a maverick and often bends the rules to get results. Jack's partner is Zoe Baulderstone, played by Vanessa Gray. Zoe is a by-the-book detective who often clashes with Jack's unorthodox methods.

The pair are supported by a strong cast of characters, including their boss, Chief Superintendent Michael Slattery, played by Gary Sweet. Slattery is a tough but fair leader who values results above all else. Other members of the CIB include the streetwise Vern Demalle, played by Tim Ross, and the computer expert Melissa Lee, played by Simone McAullay.

Each episode of The Strip focuses on a particular case that the detectives are working on. The cases range from drug busts to murder investigations, and the detectives use a combination of traditional investigative techniques and cutting-edge technology to solve them. The show is full of action, with car chases, shootouts, and fist fights a regular occurrence.

Aside from the crime-solving aspect of the show, The Strip also explores the personal lives of the detectives. Jack, in particular, has a complicated personal life. He is divorced and has a teenage daughter, but he is also romantically involved with a woman named Cindy Panagos, played by Frankie J. Holden. Cindy is a successful businesswoman who is often at odds with Jack's dangerous job.

Zoe, on the other hand, is engaged to be married but is having doubts about her relationship. Her fianc
