One of the largest of the games matches during the CMP National Match at Camp Perry pays homage to a rifle that is very important to history and competition. 17. CMP Police and Fire Games 2025

Law enforcement, firefighters and first responders from around the world have gathered in Birmingham, AL for the contests of all descriptions. Nearly all of the shooting sports events are hosted by the CMP Talladega Marksmanship Park. Then it is a new Colt ProTip with Mark Redl on establishing the Red Dot Offset.
16. Daisy Nationals 2024

It's a gathering of more than six hundred kids ages eight to fifteen from around the country, all with elite level marksmanship skill at five-meter BB Gun competition. It's the Daisy BB Gun National from Rogers, Arkansas. Then, it's a new Colt ProTip with World Champion Jalise Williams, and her four-dot drill.
15. Factory Gun

It is the largest national championship for the most popular divisions of the United States Practical Shooting Association. Carry optics, Production, Single Stack and Revolver divisions will battle it out over three days and twenty courses of fire at the Cardinal Shooting Center in Ohio.
14. D-Day Matches 2025

The CMP's Talladega Marksmanship Park plays host to a series of rifle and pistol matches utilizing period correct battle rifles and as-issued pistols to honor and remember the heroes of D-Day. Plus, John goes to the line with a CMP 1911 to try out a new as-issued pistol competition format.

It's the multi-gun match that simply will not die. The Hornady Zombie 3Gun is an annual draw to the Heartland Public Shooting Center in Grand Island, Nebraska, the hometown of the largest family-owned ammunition manufacturer in the world. Then, it's the story of a D1 Collage shotgun team that does not have university support or even a coach, but they do have a national championship.

It's an action pistol match that is forty-five years old. The four known courses of fire are a challenge that many have attempted but only a few have mastered. It's the CMP Bianchi Cup, and this year they are rolling out a new format to bring out the youth, allowing rim fire pistols. Then it's a new Taurus ProTip with Matt Little of Grey Beard Actual.

It's a new shooting sport format designed for the entry level competitor, with levels to challenge even the best practical shooters. The NRA is rolling out their new format for the competition with Americas Rifle, the AR-15. Then the 152nd National Rifle Association annual meetings in Atlanta.

The Ultimate Hunter Rifle Challenge is a new shooting sport designed to appeal to the millions of hunters in the country who want to test their skill and do it with equipment they likely already own. The sixth edition of the Armageddon Gear AG Cup may be the most challenging of this elite level precision rifle match, there is Twenty Thousand dollars for the winner plus another one thousand cash for the top score on each of the ten final courses of fire. On the world-famous Rifle Range One at the Civilian Marksmanship Programs Talladega Marksmanship Park, historic military battle rifles from the past century are competing.
