Motto To Love Ru is an anime television series that is directed by Atsushi Ootsuki and is produced by Xebec. The show is set in the fictional city of Sainan, which is located on the planet of Deviluke. The plot revolves around Rito's relationships with a variety of female characters, including his long-time friend Haruna Sairenji, as well as several new characters that are introduced in the series. Among these new characters are Mea Kurosaki, a mysterious girl who comes to Earth with her sister, and Yami, a skilled assassin who initially comes to Sainan to kill Rito.

As with the previous To Love Ru series, Motto To Love Ru is primarily a fan service comedy series, featuring plenty of erotic and suggestive content.
