7. New Mexico Bear Hunting With Hounds
December 4, 2019
Using mules to access the backcountry, Clay Newcomb and Strait Sedillo freecast hounds to hunt for bear in New Mexico in late October. Putting on over 40 miles on the mules in five days, these boys cover some ground looking for bruins and show how difficult hunting with hounds can be. Bear hunting with hounds is a traditional, ethical and incredible way to pursue bears!
6. Right Time TWICE
November 19, 2019
A long road trip with two grade-school friends heads to a hunt in Manitoba Canada for giant whitetail where Clay Newcomb connects with a 160-inch buck. This was his third year in a row to come home with a big buck from the far north while hunting with Tom Ainsworth of Grandview Outfitting.

4. River's Bear
October 23, 2019
Spanning over two years, River Newcomb's pursuit of a big Arkansas black bear encompassed a serious mule accident and some wins and losses with some giant bears. Clay and River used mules to bow hunt bears on a secluded property in the mountains of Arkansas.

On their first ever elk hunt, and with only three weeks of preparation, Clay and Bear Newcomb head out with their mules to Colorado public land for an elk expedition. This Do-it-yourself adventure in Montana starts with a cross-country trip hauling mules from Arkansas to Montana. Misses, getting thrown off mules, missing a blonde bear and finally taking a great bear after 16 days of cumulative hunting over the course of three hunts, Clay Newcomb comes back to Arkansas with the meat, fat and hide of a great Montana boar.
