Watch TV Shows on FSD

Launched on September 17, 1997, Fox Sports Detroit aired as an American regional sports network which covers local sporting events in the state of Michigan. An affiliate of the Fox Sport Network, the channel primarily covers sports in the Metro Detroit area, but can be accessed by almost anyone with cable television in the state. FSD is owned by Fox Cable Networks, which is a subset of the larger Fox Entertainment Group sector of the popular 21st Century Fox. The network primarily airs games played by the Detroit Tigers baseball team, Detroit Pistons professional basketball team, and the Detroit Red Wings hockey team. Viewers can also enjoy Michigan college and high school sporting events as well on this channel.

FSD is available on cable televisions in not only the state of Michigan, but also Northwestern Indiana, Northwest Ohio, and some areas of northeastern Wisconsin, and nationwide on DirecTV and Dish Network.

Interestingly, the headquarters for the FSD network is located in Houston, Texas. After completely revamping the technology in 2009 though, pre-game and post-game coverage, along with professional sporting team shows began broadcasting from the network's high definition, all-digital studio in southern Michigan.

Along with other remote connections, FSD has become widely accessible and available through carriers such as AT&T U-verse and satellite TV.
