Blind Skateboards is an iconic skateboard company that has been around for decades and has significantly influenced the skateboarding world. Blind was started by legendary skateboarder, Mark Gonzales, and has consistently put out top of the line products that remain a classic favorite from skateboards from every inch of the globe. Actor Jason Lee was also an integral part of the formation of Blind Skateboards, although few people know that he actually started his career in television after rising up in the skateboarding world as a professional skateboarder.
The Blind Skateboards company currently predominantly produces skateboard decks and wheels, but they also make accessories, clothing and other types of products that feature the Blind logo. Since they opened up shop, they have had a team of great skateboarders that represent their products and that team still continues today. They go on tour to different skate parks across the United States, as well as around the world, and consistently put out videos that have generated millions of sales and have solidified themselves as one of the best skateboarding companies to date.
The company was started back in 1989 and is still going as strong as ever, just a year after they celebrated their twenty-five year anniversary. Blind Skateboards were an integral part in the transition from old school skateboards that people rode in the seventies and eighties, to the modern version that is still around and in use today.
