On the eve of the 125th anniversary of the Dawson City Fire Department, Chief Mike and his volunteer firefighters face two emergencies that push their limits. A young boy’s mountain biking adventure takes a horrific turn, leaving him with fractured bones. Just outside of town, a vehicle goes off the road and flips several times as it plummets down a steep ravine, stopping just inches from contaminating a sensitive marshland. With no one else to help, Chief Mike needs to find a way to recover the vehicle. Near Carmacks, conservation officer Blake’s advanced firearms training is put to the test when he’s sent in to protect a group of researchers stalked by an aggressive bear in the thick brush.

While hunting for evidence in a possible case of poaching, conservation officer Logan encounters a potentially life-threatening situation with two aggressive bears feeding on the remains of a moose. In Whitehorse, wildfire season is fast approaching, and the Yukon First Nations Wildfire is prepping for its busiest year ever. Then, a young group of recruits is pushed to their physical limits chasing their firefighting dreams when an out-of-control wildfire closes in on Whitehorse. Meanwhile, on a lonely stretch of highway far from town, Ray and Doug struggle to help when a driver falls asleep at the wheel and ends up hopelessly tangled in the trees.

The Dawson City Fire Department races to protect the town from devastating flash floods. In Watson Lake, while responding to emergency calls about a rogue bison herd threatening local communities and damaging vehicles, a conservation officer suspects a lone individual deep in the woods of engaging in illegal activity. Near Whitehorse, officers set up a covert sting operation to catch a serial poacher. Meanwhile, Land Guardians from the Kwanlin Dun First Nation launch an urgent investigation into illegal logging and dumping that is threatening to devastate the landscape and wildlife, while Ray and Doug attempt to help a hunter whose vehicle has broken down in the wilderness.

The spring melt has everyone scrambling to protect the city from flooding, and the fire department responds to a call that puts the town in jeopardy.
