Then there's Skat and Glitch, psycho clowns who drive an ice cream truck that hides some sinister surprises under the hood. The competition is hosted by Calypso, an eccentric billionaire who runs Twisted Metal more for his own amusement than anything else. He provides color commentary as his unhinged contestants unleash automotive anarchy.

The arenas they battle in are just as wild and dangerous as the drivers themselves.
