Timber Kings is a Canadian reality television series that aired on Discovery Channel in 2014. The show follows the lives of four craftsmen who specialize in converting raw timber into luxurious custom homes, rustic cabins and stunning works of art. The show was admired for its unique focus on the craft of timber-frame building and the intricate woodworking skills required for it.

The show stars the talented team of builders of Pioneer Log Homes, a company based in Williams Lake, British Columbia. The main cast includes founding member Bryan Reid Sr., who is a skilled craftsman and a natural leader. Troy MacNeill, the chief designer of Pioneer Log Homes is known for his innovative designs and versatility in building styles. Peter Arnold, a custom designer, a veteran logger and a master craftsman is the quintessential Canadian woodsman. Last but not least, Beat Schwaller, a Swiss-trained master craftsman is a perfectionist and one of the most respected and accomplished timber framers in the industry.

The show is set in stunning locations in British Columbia and surrounding regions, where the team takes up some of the most challenging and complex timber-framing projects. Despite tight deadlines, difficult weather conditions and unexpected challenges, the team always delivers exceptional quality and craftsmanship in their work. The episodes are fast-paced, engaging and full of suspense.

In each episode, the team works on a new project, ranging from dome-shaped cabins to multi-leveled log homes that sit atop rocky cliffs. The show provides an intimate look at the intricate process of transforming logs into a log home, right from initial design and engineering to the final touches of interior decoration.
