The Prey, a French television series, revolves around a criminal named Franck Adrien who is falsely accused of murder and goes on the run to prove his innocence. The show is set in Lyon, France and throughout its ten-episode run, follows Adrien's journey as he tries to clear his name while also trying to evade the police and the real killer who is still out there.

The show opens with Adrien, a successful banker, being arrested for the murder of a young girl. He is taken into custody and interrogated by a tough and determined police officer named Claire Linn
