The next day we make our way to the ski resort of La Mongie and after a quick tour, we head off on the last leg of our journey to the Col du Tourmalet and it discuss it's role in the historic Tour de France.

2. Budget Boxster Lockdown Blowout - Le Mans, Bordeaux, Madiran and Pau

After a quick pit stop at the Circuit de la Sarthe, we take on our own version of the 24 Hours of Le Mans before heading off to our next stop in Bordeaux. The following day we explore Bordeaux and some of it's history and visit a restaurant from our 1952 Michelin Guide. Leaving Bordeaux behind, we make a quick stop at a boutique French winery before finally arriving in Pau.

Leaving Reading (United Kingdom) we drive the outskirts of greater London to board the cross-channel train in Folkestone. Leaving the train in Calais, we start on the main part of our journey and upon reaching Rouen we explore the town and discuss some of its history. We then make our way to Le Mans, tour the medieval city and revealing some of its past links to England.
