The peaceful lives of a group of Mormon's living in Mexico were torn apart by the arrival of a new leader for their group, Ervil LaBaron who turned the community to into a cult of his own personality. After a series of killings prompted by LaBaron, the community eventually cut free from their horrific past. One family who were targeted by LaBaron and his followers are now leading a fight against Mexican drug lords who now threaten their safety, with the past and current events examined in this harrowing documentary.
