The Crippendales are not to be confused with the Chippendales, male strippers. Although it is still about male strippers, these particular strippers are disabled. This film is actually lovely documentary in the way that the group joins together no matter what their disability may be. One man was paralyzed as in a motorbike accident, another crumbled his spine from a car bomb in Northern Ireland, one man is blind, and another has a neurological condition.
The show features their training sessions, their auditions and their pain. It also features the happy women at the pub where they perform.
