5. Homecoming

Coach confides to his friend that he's considering coaching changes on defense. One of the Spartans' best pass rushers is struggling and his mom warns him he needs to get his act together to keep his scholarship. Coach goes to Ft. Lauderdale to spend the bye week with his family and tells Kijafa he's fired his defensive coordinator, Coach Garvin. Coach Vick returns to Norfolk with a message for his players: the season can be salvaged by winning the conference.

2. Big State vs Little State

Coming off the disappointing opener, the Spartans have a big HBCU rivalry game coming up against Virginia State. Coach Vick goes all in on getting Izzy to improve, while his brother, Marcus, thinks Otto should start. Kijafa holds the Vick household down in Ft. Lauderdale and presides over a typically chaotic morning with the kids. In the game against Virginia State, Coach pulls Izzy for Otto, who leads the Spartans to a thrilling overtime victory.
1. All Eyes On Norfolk
February 19, 2026
Coach Vick brings excitement and hope to Norfolk State as he takes the reigns as head coach. He and his wife, Kijafa, struggle with the idea of living apart during the season; it's especially hard for Coach to be separated from his 7-year-old son. As Coach Vick prepares for his debut, Kijafa plans a star-studded surprise party. On the field, there's a big quarterback competition between Izzy and Otto. Coach Vick vows to do what's best for the team and seeks advice from his mentor, Deion Sanders.
