The Break is a television movie which features a program where homeless people are trying to turn their lives around and move on from the past. This movie details the lives of 3 people who, for various reasons, have become homeless. The movie is based on a real life program which helps the homeless. These people are assisted getting their lives back on track through this program.

Following the lives of the three people showcased in this movie shows the struggles homeless people face. It further shows how facing and overcoming their past is necessary to make the changes that will lead to a better future.
