Watch The Assailant

The Assailant chronicles the life of a young assassin in the year 1629. Based in the times of the renaissance, the young protagonist wakes up in a mysterious chamber. Surrounded by guards, smoke, and a doctor, the assassin attempts to escape but is subdued. When he wakes up, he is in a pile of hay atop the roof of a merchant's store in Venice. All he can remember is that he was sent to kill the city's financial minister. Armed with a primitive gun, arrows, and incredibly martial skill, he proceeds to attack key points of the political regime's forts. He ends up fleeing in the final battle toward a resolution that the audience won't see coming.
