Then, Nicole's brother C.J. and their dad Carlos Macias join the show to talk about C.J.'s traumatic wipeout and they offer insight into their communal life in Hawaii.

Host Nicole McNamara welcomes 100 Foot Wave executive producer Joe Lewis to the show to recap the events in Episode 5 and dig into how the series came to be. She then sits down with Tony Laureano, the youngest of the Nazare surfers, about growing up surfing and all he and his family have done to allow him to surf the biggest waves in the world. Finally, she talks to Laurent Pujol, the show's Emmy-winning cinematographer, to learn how he captures the action on the waves up close like nobody else can.
