Sharp Objects is an HBO drama series that premiered in 2018, based on the novel by Gillian Flynn. It follows Camille Preaker, a troubled journalist who returns to her hometown of Wind Gap, Missouri, to investigate the murder of two young girls. Camille, played by Amy Adams, struggles to deal with her own personal demons, including her traumatic childhood, while trying to uncover the truth about the murders.
