Radiant is a Japanese anime series that premiered in 2018 on NHK Educational TV. It is based on the French comic book of the same name by Tony Valente. The anime is produced by Lerche Studios and directed by Seiji Kishi. The show is set in a fictional world where some people are born with the ability to use magic, known as sorcerers. However, the use of magic comes at a cost - it turns the user into a monster known as a Nemesis.

The main character of Radiant is Seth, a young sorcerer who dreams of defeating the Nemesis and finding the mythical place called Radiant. He leaves his home village to join the Artemis Institute, a group of sorcerers who train young people to become stronger and more skilled in using magic.
