Watch Precinct 17

When Ron Moore wrapped up Battlestar Galactica, he could have created just about any television show he wanted. What he decided to write was an odd police show that is part Harry Potter, part CSI. Set in a world where there is no batteries or oil and everything runs on magic, plants and fire. The show is a cop show but it's set in a world that is distinctive and more than a bit creepy. Produced for the 2011 fall schedule, NBC declined to pick up the series and the pilot is the only remaining trace of the idea.
