Philly D.A. is a documentary television series aired on PBS that chronicles the first term of Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner. The show takes an unflinching and unprecedented look at the inner workings of the criminal justice system and the challenges faced by progressive prosecutors who seek to bring about real change.

Krasner is depicted as a tireless advocate for criminal justice reform, earning himself the reputation of the most progressive district attorney in the country. He came into office with a mandate to undo the decades of mass incarceration policies that have disproportionately affected black and brown communities. Krasner's tenure is marked by policies aimed at decriminalization, bail reform, and eliminating the use of cash bail, as well as reducing sentences for low-level drug offenses.
