Paper Tales is a Russian animated television series produced by Studio Parovoz. The show's creators are Dmitry Vysotsky, Dmitry Mednikov, and Vladlen Barbé. It is based on the Russian classic folktale "The Wolf and the Goat," but several of the show’s stories have been created by Studio Parovoz themselves.

The series follows the adventures of three unlikely heroes: a wolf, a bear, and a hare. The wolf named Grey is the protagonist of the show, and he is a peculiar wolf. He doesn't hunt, but instead, he loves reading books and telling stories. He lives in a cozy forest hut surrounded by books of all kinds. Nonetheless, his passion for storytelling often leads him into trouble.

The other two main characters are the bear named Brown and the hare named White. Brown is the strongest and most loyal of the three, but also the laziest. He spends most of his time sleeping, and when he's not sleeping, he enjoys eating honey. White, on the other hand, is the smartest and most resourceful of the trio. She is always inventing and creating new things and is never without a clever plan.

Every episode of the show is an independent story that takes place in the enchanted forest where Grey, Brown, and White live. The forest is a magical place full of surprises and wonder. The animators did a great job of creating stunning landscapes and creatures, such as a giant caterpillar, a dragonfly who loves baking, and an old tree who keeps watches over the forest.

Throughout the show, the main characters interact with other animals, each with their own stories and personalities. There are badgers, hedgehogs, squirrels, and many other woodland creatures, each with its unique quirks and traits. However, Grey, Brown, and White always manage to find a way to help or save their fellow creatures, no matter the dangers or risks.

Besides being fun and entertaining, the show also has a lot of educational value. It encourages the love of reading and storytelling, as Grey's character suggests, and it touches on subjects such as friendship, loyalty, and responsibility. Each episode has a moral message, presented in a simple but effective way, making it easy for children to understand.

One standout aspect of the series is the soundtrack. The music is catchy, fun, and fitting for each scene. It complements the animation perfectly, and it will have young viewers singing along in no time.

The animation style for Paper Tales is unique and sophisticated. The show uses a technique called 'Stop-motion animation,' where each frame is created individually. The animators have done an excellent job of bringing the characters to life, with details such as the texture of their fur and the movement of their eyes. The overall look of the show is very impressive and visually appealing.

In conclusion, Paper Tales is a fun, educational, and enchanting show that is perfect for children to enjoy. It has a timeless quality that will appeal to both kids and adults alike. The combination of stunning visuals, catchy music, and engaging characters make it one of the best-animated TV shows currently available. Studio Parovoz has done a great job of creating a magical world that will delight and inspire the imaginations of young viewers for years to come.
