The couple visits an orphanage of girls, and Shruti distributes sanitary pads to teenage girls. Abhi is still unaware of Shruti's illness. She is nowhere to be found when Abhi wakes up the next morning. She sends a video message to Abhi and her family about her condition. By the time, they realize their mistakes, it's already too late. Shruti is no more. Abhi and her family is broken.

There's an air of silence between Shruti and Abhi. When Seshu praises Shruti about her deeds, Abhi realizes his fault. The couple eventually makes amends and gets back together. Shruti begins to show symptoms of discomfort around her Manager's conduct and Abhi notices it. Shruti is shattered, but pretends to be normal with Abhi, and plans a surprise for him.

Abhi is pestered by the broker regarding rental agreement. Shruti is harassed by her pervert manager for her conservative behavior. Abhi accepts an offer from his childhood friend, for a pre-wedding shoot. The awkward marriage couple seems quite off. Shruti senses that and breaks the marriage. Abhi is furious on her for ruining an opportunity to make money. They split up.

Shruti and Abhi move in with hope. Abhi's father cuts all his allowances . Shruti joins her new job. Abhi is more determined about earning money. He doesn't inform Shruti that he's running low on allowances, and tries to amend it by making sacrifices for her. Shruti finds it difficult to adjust to the manager at her workplace. Abhi's script is rejected by the producer.

Shruti and Abhi, struggle to find a new suitable house and they eventually find one to their taste. Shruti's parents are less angry and more worried now for her daughter. Her father calls up Divya. Shruti anonymously picks up the call instead of Divya. Her father's voice puts her to tears. Shruti is hesitant about moving in with Abhi, although she initiated the idea.

Shruti moves into Divya's home for the time-being, and explains her the scene. Divya helps her patch up with Abhi, and the couple decide to live-in together, in order to know each other better before making a marital decision. Meanwhile, Shruti's parents are deeply ashamed by Shruti's behavior, and decide to let her meet her own fate. Shruti's Doctor informs about her critical condition.

Shruti, a happy go lucky girl, brought up in a conservative family, has to choose between marriage and freedom, although the groom is her childhood crush Abhi. She slaps him for making her uncomfortable; the family and relatives misinterpret her behavior and her deed ends the bride-viewing ceremony on a harsh, bitter note. When she can't take it anymore, she elopes from her parent's home.
