But then Diego gets an emergency call from his cousin Dora and Boots: It's time for the Carnival celebration at the mountain top and Linda the Llama is supposed to bring the music and goodies for the party -- but she's nowhere to be found! Diego finds Linda and pulls her out of the muddy mud puddle, and then they set off to get to the mountain in time for the party. Along the way they have to look out for pumas, stop the Bobo Brothers from trying to grab the Carnival goodies, and then sing 'sube' as they climb up the mountain. At Carnival, Linda saves the day by pulling the special Carnival float while Diego, Dora, and Boots dance the samba!

Today is the rainforest race, and animals have come from all over to compete: a puma team, a howler monkey team, and a spectacled bear team. Then a cute little Armadillo comes along -- she doesn't have a team but she really wants to be in the race. Diego and the viewer join Armadillo's team and set off to win the race. First dodging falling nuts from the Shaky Nut Trees, then Armadillo rolls into a ball to get down the Muddy Mud Hill. At the last obstacle, the Big Mountain, Armadillo digs a tunnel as we sing the 'excava' song, and suddenly Armadillo's team takes the lead. Will they win the race?!
