The Asia Word - Impact 1040 team leaves Cambodia by bus and heads to neighbouring Laos, in hopes of setting up a satellite office there. Laos places restrictions on non-governmental organizations' abilities to operate. During this trip to Paksé, the Impact team meets with local leaders and explores the beautiful surroundings. They provide relief to a marginalized Vietnamese community that lives on the water, most of whom have not seen a health practitioner for years. Cambodian non-governmental organization Asia Word - Impact 1040 leaves Phnom Penh to travel down the Mekong River towards Vietnam.
