Music Bank is a South Korean music television show. It first debuted in 1981 but it has been growing rapidly ever since. More currently, in 2011, the hit music show spread its musical seeds to 72 different countries via KBS World. Within the realm of South Korea's Music Bank holds the weekly top 50 songs, called K-Chart. Once weekly a winner is chosen and then deemed the victor of the week. Afterwards the contest turns into a bi-annual award at the last week of June, then a yearly award at the last week of December.
