Legacy of the Silver Shadow is a show that takes on neo-noir style and is set around the fictional city of Justice City. The show premiered in 2002 and aired till 2003. The show has been produced by Janson Media, while it has been developed by the team of writers consisting of Adam Browne, Stephen Francis, and Travis Short. The show has a total of 22 episodes, each of approximately 24 minutes long, spread over a single season.

The show revolves around the protagonist, Alex Knight (played by Alex Hopkins), a private investigator and former police detective. After his son is killed in a hit-and-run accident, he quits his job with the police department and becomes a PI. With his experience and street smarts, he finds himself in the middle of a complex web of corruption, betrayal, and love.

Alex is a flawed individual seeking redemption for his prior mistakes. Having gone through a painful divorce and losing his son, he decides to quit the police force and become a PI, to seek justice for people who cannot get it through the traditional channels. His investigative methods are unconventional and often get him in trouble with the law. However, he is determined to see justice served, even if it means breaking a few laws in the process.
