Knucklehead Garage is a reality TV show that follows the day-to-day operations of Matt Myrick's garage, which is located in Atlanta, Georgia. The show stars Carter Astin and Byron Smith, who help Myrick run the garage and tackle a variety of automotive projects. Each episode of the show revolves around a single project, such as building a custom hot rod, restoring a classic muscle car, or repairing a vintage motorcycle. The trio works together to plan out the project, gather the necessary parts and tools, and get to work on the build.

One of the most refreshing aspects of Knucklehead Garage is its focus on real, hands-on work. Myrick, Astin, and Smith aren't afraid to get their hands dirty or dive into difficult projects, and they don't rely on gimmicks or special effects to make their work look impressive. Instead, the show emphasizes the importance of craftsmanship and attention to detail, highlighting the satisfaction that comes from working hard and doing a job well.

At the same time, Knucklehead Garage is also a showcase for some truly incredible vehicles. Whether they're working on a classic muscle car or a custom chopper, Myrick and his team are clearly passionate about the vehicles they work on, and they take great care to restore and customize them in unique and interesting ways. And while the builds themselves are undeniably impressive, the show also devotes plenty of time to exploring the history and background of each vehicle, sharing stories and insights that will appeal to car enthusiasts of all levels.

But perhaps the most engaging aspect of Knucklehead Garage is the interaction between the three hosts. Myrick, Astin, and Smith have a great rapport and a playful dynamic that makes for entertaining viewing. They tease each other, crack jokes, and engage in friendly rivalries, all while working hard to get the job done. And while the show is undoubtedly focused on cars and motorcycles, it's the personalities and relationships of the hosts that make it truly engaging for viewers.

Overall, Knucklehead Garage is a great choice for anyone who loves cars, motorcycles, or just good old-fashioned hard work. With its mix of engaging personalities, impressive builds, and down-to-earth approach, it's a show that will appeal to gearheads and non-gearheads alike.

Project LSK5 is a 1978 Chevy K5 Blazer 4x4. The goal of this build is a budget-minded, street-able trail rig for our editor Carter. He has a history with this rig and decided to build it into a capable off road vehicle while still having decent road manners. We'll be doing a full modern LS drivetrain swap on this rig in the future but on this episode we'll be tackling the suspension and axles.
