Interior Design Masters is a reality competition show that aired on BBC Two in 2019. The show follows ten aspiring interior designers as they compete against each other to win a career-making contract with a top London hotel. The show is presented by architect and design expert Michelle Ogundehin, who acts as a judge alongside guest judges each week. Comedian Alan Carr and presenter Fearne Cotton also make appearances throughout the series as guest judges.

Each episode has a different design challenge that the contestants must complete within a certain timeframe. The challenges range from designing a children's bedroom, to transforming a shipping container into a home, to creating a luxury hotel suite.

The contestants are given a budget for each challenge and they must use their skills and creativity to come up with a unique design that fits the brief. Along the way, they are mentored by industry experts who offer advice and guidance on how to improve their designs.

At the end of each episode, the judges evaluate each contestant's work and choose a winner, as well as one or more contestants who are sent home. The winner of each challenge receives an advantage for the next challenge, such as first choice of design materials or an extra hour of design time.

Ultimately, the contestant who makes it to the end and impresses the judges the most with their overall performance is declared the winner of Interior Design Masters and receives the coveted contract with the London hotel.

One of the unique elements of Interior Design Masters is the diversity of the contestants. The ten designers come from a variety of backgrounds, including fashion design, architecture, and graphic design. They also have varying levels of experience, from recent design graduates to established professionals.

The show is not just about design, as it also explores the personal journeys of the contestants. The designers share their struggles, triumphs, and aspirations, providing a glimpse into the life of an interior designer.

Overall, Interior Design Masters is an engaging and inspiring show that celebrates creativity and design. It offers a rare behind-the-scenes look at the design process, as well as the opportunity to witness talented designers push themselves to their limits in pursuit of their dreams.
