									Hotaru is shocked to learn that Takano has been thinking about quitting the company for months, and is questioning what their lives will look like after marriage. As she begins to think about their future, Kazuma announces he is also quitting. He will be leaving for New York and he wants her to go with him.

									Bontaro, the traveling minstrel and Takano's father, suddenly returns home. He is here to meet the family of the woman Takano will marry, but Takano is not happy see him. After all, Takano has never thought of him as a father. Besides, Takano has other things on his mind, such as his future career plans.
								
9. A Kiss Suddenly Happens!

									Even though Hotaru is depressed about Takano putting some distance between them, she still has to go to work. As a senior employee, she is advised to watch over Mika instead of getting directly involved in her project. But seeing how stressed Mika is, Hotaru invites her to go river fishing with Kazuma and the team.

									When Takano wants to meet Hotaru's family, she calls her sister to tell her about the upcoming marriage. She is a bit too lazy to do anything else, but changes her mind when her friends advise her to at least make the minimum effort for Takano's sake.

									Even though Hotaru has proposed to Takano, she cannot get Kazuma's confession of love out of her mind. When she overhears Mika talking about taking a trip to a mystical power site, she joins them in order to gain the energy to forget Kazuma, and to keep doing her best for her marriage with Takano.

									When Takano suddenly calls off their marriage, Ms. Yamada tells Hotaru it means he does not mind if she becomes another man's woman, and urges Hotaru to make him propose to her again. However, Hotaru decides to leave Takano alone. She acts as if nothing is wrong, but Kazuma is quick to notice her strange behavior.
								
5. Housewife Competency of Himono-Onna

									As Hotaru lounges about as usual, Takano wonders how another man could fall for her. Hotaru has met a himono-otoko in Kazuma who tells her he wants to spend all day at home, just like she can if she becomes a housewife. Inspired by his words, Hotaru declares to Takano that she will be a great housewife.

									When Kazuma and Mika pay a surprise visit to Hotaru and Takano's home, they have no choice but to reveal that they are living together and plan to marry. Kazuma and Mika are both shocked. They find the relationship suspicious because Hotaru and Takano aren't lovey-dovey enough.
