Historia de un clan is an Argentinian television series that first aired in 2015. The show is a dramatized retelling of the true story of the Puccio family, a seemingly normal and successful middle-class family who ran a kidnapping and extortion ring in Buenos Aires during the 1980s.
The series stars Alejandro Awada as Arquimedes Puccio, the patriarch of the family and the mastermind behind the criminal enterprise. Arquimedes is a complicated character who is both charming and manipulative, using his wit and intelligence to convince his family members and their victims to go along with his plans. However, he is also deeply flawed, and the series explores the reasons behind his descent into criminality.
The show also stars Chino Darin as Alejandro, one of Arquimedes' sons who begins to question the ethics of his family's actions and begins to distance himself from them. Darin gives a powerful performance as a young man struggling to reconcile his love for his family with his revulsion at their crimes.
