5. The Lost Boys

Sabour heads to Arnhem Land to spend two weeks in a small town called Yirrkala living completely under the rules of the Intervention. Five years after it was put into effect, the Intervention has been re-named Stronger Futures, changed slightly, and renewed for another decade. Sabour wants to find out what it's like to live under, by staying in a tent on a beach in the community.

Biological sex doesn't always match up with 'brain sex' and when that happens, you either spend your life in torment or you make the decision to transition and become the person you know you are inside. Sabour sets out to get inside the Trans world but he finds it difficult to get people to talk to him on camera because it's such a sensitive subject in Australia. So he heads off to the USA to meet a group of Trans teens, including teenage singing sensation and activist, Ryan Cassata.

Sabour is fascinated by the modern day phenomenon of Internet love scammers. Cyber criminals are fleecing vulnerable Australians of millions of dollars every month but the only people who seem to be doing anything about it is a detective from the Queensland Fraud Squad. So Sabour heads to Brisbane to meet Detective Superintendent Brian Hay who runs a victim support group for scam survivors. Sabour is overwhelmed by the stories coming out of the group and decides to meet up with three of the members in the coming days.
