Season One Finale. The council devises a plan to trap De Witt’s army. Kalia brokers a deal with De Witt’s adjutant, Dirk, while Kurt reclaims an old debt. The Dutch make their final descent, as the fate of Grisse hangs in the balance.

Kalia, along with Chi’s gang, is imprisoned after refusing to surrender to Adnan. When the townspeople gather to demand Kalia’s release, Lena orders the royal guards to beat them into submission, causing a horrified Maran to question his new leaders. Later, Kalia and Adnan duel for rightful leadership of Grisse.

While Kalia is held captive, Adnan takes control of Grisse. As the Dutch gloat, Ryuichi sneaks into their camp and finds himself facing off with an old acquaintance. In Kalia’s absence, Chi remains loyal and stands her ground against Adnan.

After the council learns that Governor Daan is dead and Kurt has escaped, Kalia holds Maran responsible, leaving him embittered and vulnerable to Adnan’s influence. When Moresby vanishes, Kalia discovers what he’d been looking for. Armed with knowledge of the ledgers, Kalia plans to parlay with De Witt once again.
