10. Gales of November
April 10, 2017
November storms on the Great Lakes make travel treacherous. One cargo ship, the SS Edmund Fitzgerald was a freighter that succumbed to one of those storms in November of nineteen seventy-five. The entire crew of 29 were lost to Lake Superior. At the time, she was the largest ship on the Great Lakes and remains to today as the largest to have sunk there.

A category four hurricane is bearing down on the unsuspecting city, making it and remaining the worst and deadliest natural disaster in United States history. Nearly the entire city destroyed, the death toll estimated between eight and twelve thousand.
