Cold As Balls is a show on the YouTube channel Laugh Out Loud. The show is hosted by famous comedian Kevin Hart and it features various celebrity guests joining him in a cold tub while they engage in candid conversations about their lives, careers, and anything in between. The concept of the show is pretty straightforward - a cold tub, two people, and a lot of laughter.
The show is divided into different seasons, and the first season premiered in 2018. Each episode features Kevin Hart and one or two celebrity guests. Some of the guests from the early seasons include Draymond Green, LaVar Ball, Odell Beckham Jr., Gabrielle Union, and Blake Griffin, among others.
Each episode typically starts with Kevin Hart and his guests entering the cold tub, which is filled with ice-cold water. The guests' reactions to the cold water are often hilarious and add to the comedic nature of the show. As they start to talk, the guests often go off on tangents, sharing funny stories and anecdotes from their lives.
The conversation between Kevin Hart and his guests is not scripted and it's not always family-friendly. The topics can be risqué and the language can be explicit, so it's not a show for everyone. However, for those who enjoy Kevin Hart's humor and are interested in hearing candid discussions with celebrities, Cold As Balls can be quite entertaining.
One of the interesting features of the show is how Kevin Hart often uses his comedic skills to help his guests open up. He asks them uncomfortable questions, challenges them on their beliefs, and makes them feel at ease. The combination of the cold water, the casual setting, and Kevin Hart's unique approach to interviewing can lead to some pretty memorable moments.
In addition to the interviews, there are also a few recurring segments on the show. One of them is called "Cold Calls," where Kevin Hart calls other celebrities to ask them to join him in the cold tub. Another segment is called "Athlete's Foot," where Kevin Hart and his guest play a game of trivia while submerged in the cold water.
The show has evolved over the seasons, with more celebrities and longer episodes. The early seasons were around 12 minutes long, while the later seasons are closer to 30 minutes. This allows for more in-depth discussions and more time for the guests to share their stories.
The show has gained a lot of popularity since its inception, thanks in part to Kevin Hart's massive social media following. Each season has millions of views, and the show has been praised for its unique format and entertaining content.
While the show is primarily focused on comedy, there are also moments of vulnerability and honesty between Kevin Hart and his guests. They open up about their struggles, their successes, and their fears. It's a refreshing change from the typical celebrity interviews that often feel rehearsed and sterile.
In conclusion, Cold As Balls is a unique and entertaining show featuring candid conversations between Kevin Hart and his celebrity guests. The format of the show is simple, but the combination of the cold water, Kevin Hart's humor, and the guests' stories makes for an entertaining and insightful viewing experience. If you're a fan of Kevin Hart or are interested in hearing conversations with celebrities that go beyond the typical talking points, Cold As Balls is definitely worth checking out.
