Awkward is a show on MTV about a group of friends and their journey through a very difficult time in their lives, high school. The show revolves around an average teenage girl, Jenna Hamilton, who blends into the background of her school. That all changes, however, when an accident is mistaken as a suicide attempt, leaving her known as the suicide girl. She finds out life is different when everyone knows your name. As the show progresses, you see how Jenna and her friends grow and change into adults on the way to starting their lives outside of high school.
