As a comedy-drama series, Aussie Girl follows the story of a young actress named Summer (Tammin Sursok) who moves from her hometown in Australia to chase her dreams of making it big in Hollywood. With high goals and low budget, Summer works at an ice cream parlor while attending endless auditions in hopes of getting her breakout role. However, things don't go as planned, and Summer finds herself in hilariously awkward situations while navigating her new life in Los Angeles.

Tammin has an intense stress dream about Olivia Newton John. AJ comforts her about the stress she's under trying to land a gig before her three month visa expires. At an audition, a hallucination of her manager John gives her the pep talk she needs. She gives a moving speech at her audition instead of reading lines, but she gets the part due to her passion.

6. Crafty Service

September 1, 2019

Cole gets Tammin an extra gig for his scifi movie, where she meets Ian Ziering. She mocks the project to him, but then finds out Ian's brother wrote it. She snags the attention of the director and gets a line and a better role. Then she puts her foot in her mouth again and gets fired.

5. Disco Queen

September 1, 2019

Tammin and AJ are instant best friends. While going to get Tammin a car, they run into fellow Aussie actor Cole Heinlock who was cast in a big new film. She has a crisis in confidence, but the Budget rental car guy comforts her with a song.

4. Monkey Love

September 1, 2019

Tammin hustles through auditions and trying to find an apartment. Her parents call her in tears over the porn magazine she's supposedly done. She goes to an apartment interview with a conservative, religious woman who sees the porn magazine and has a heart attack. As the paramedics are leaving, Tammin meets AJ, who invites her to move in with her.

3. Does This Chicken Suit Go With These Heels?

Tammin has a big Hollywood job sign waving in a chicken suit. She has to rush to John's funeral and is unable to get the chicken suit off. To Tammin's horror, Trisha Pilthmore speaks at the funeral. Then Tammin confronts her and gives a moving tribute to John. Her speech catches the attention of a junior agent.

2. Un-Exceptional Talent

The immigrations officer denies Tammin's exceptional visa request due to the huge amount of actresses trying to enter Los Angeles. Tammin appeals to the officer's dreams with a song and dance, and her visa gets approved. She goes straight to Hollywood to see her former manager John. Her bright future is in reach, until John is run over by a truck.

Australia's sweetheart Tammin Sursok gets drugged at an award show by rival actress Trisha Pilthmore and tanks her reputation with a distrasous acceptance speech. To top it off her business manager runs off with all her money. In order to save her career, she decides to try her luck in Hollywood.
