Zookinesis is a gentle system of exercise combioning ancient Chinese Tai-chi and Yoga. It is based on the graceful movements of animals and is excellent for seniors. Zookinesis is called, "Age Reversal Exercises" because it restores flexibility, improves muscle strength and tone, improves breathing, reduces aches and pains, restores proper posture and increases energy while reducing tension. This program is the beginning chair exercise sequence and is also appropriate for people in wheelchairs. It is used by hundreds of senior centers and nursing homes around the country and has received high praise. Mr. Bob Klein is the head of the Zookinesis system of exercise and was certified to teach Tai-chi and related exercises in 1975 by Grandmaster William C. C. Chen. He is the author of several books on the subject and teaches on over 25 DVD's, as well as in Tai-chi schools, hospitals, senior centers and universities.
