X.Y.Z. is a film that documents the nine kids who make up VentilationX, a team of extreme sports athletes who skateboard, breakdance, and parkour, who strive to express themselves through different artistic and athletic means. The team traveled around the East Coast and documented their adventures as they tried to capture the heart and soul of the five different cities they visited. Filming in Philadelphia, New York, Washington D.C., Boston, and Miami, the team saw a vast array of landscapes and obstacles that they needed to overcome. In addition to capturing the extreme sports that the team practices, VentilationX immersed themselves in the culture of each city in an effort to portray each location through many different lenses. VentilationX is working to stake its claim in the world of urban culture through creating a new movement that will combine different art forms and athletics under one name.
