Watch Work In Progress

Created in 2000, Work in Progress is a five-minute computer-animated short film. It tells the story of a tall, thin inventor who is working with his large, cigar-smoking assistant to create a huge gorilla. Once the gorilla comes to life, it becomes clear that it is still very much a work in progress.
