In order to defend our interests around the world, we must have available a force that is trained and stationed in the United States but ready to go anywhere and fight on short notice. This force must be fully equipped and fully supplied. How rapidly this force can deploy is critical to our ability to convince our enemies or those who might hurt us, of our ability to get to them at any time, in any place. This program was shot over a period of 36 hours using several crews to capture the immediacy behind the scenes of a grueling exercise for the crack rapid deployment team.
