Toxic Zombies is a low-budget horror movie released in 1980. The film is set in a remote Army training camp in Georgia, where a group of soldiers are exposed to toxic waste during a routine training exercise. Unbeknownst to them, the waste is contaminated with an experimental nerve gas that turns them into flesh-eating zombies. The movie opens with a group of soldiers driving through a dense forest, on their way to the training camp. They are joined by a scientific team who are conducting experiments with a new kind of toxic waste. The soldiers are instructed to carry out a series of drills, including night-hikes through the woods and simulated combat exercises.

During the night-hike, the soldiers and scientists come across a field of marijuana plants. They are quickly ambushed by a group of local pot farmers who are not happy about their presence. The soldiers manage to fend off the attackers, but in doing so they accidentally spill a container of the toxic waste, which seeps into the soil.

Shortly after returning to camp, the soldiers begin to experience strange and violent behavior. They become moody and aggressive, randomly attacking each other and anyone who gets in their way. Soon, they develop a craving for human flesh and begin to attack and eat their colleagues.

The commanding officer is initially skeptical of the soldiers' claims that there is something wrong with them, but as the situation worsens, he is forced to take action. He quarantines the infected soldiers and sends for backup, but it soon becomes clear that the situation is out of control.

Meanwhile, a group of unsuspecting civilians unwittingly stumble upon the camp and fall prey to the toxic zombies. The scientific team is working frantically to find a cure, but time is running out.

The film's climax sees the surviving soldiers and civilians battling it out with the toxic zombies in a brutal fight to the death. The ending leaves the fate of the remaining survivors unknown.

Toxic Zombies is a classic low-budget horror movie with all the hallmarks of the genre; blood, gore, and gratuitous violence. The acting is hammy and the dialogue is cheesy, but it's all part of the fun. The zombie makeup is not particularly impressive, but it is effective enough to make the zombies appear both scary and repulsive.

The film's biggest downside is its pace; the first half is slow and laborious, taking too long to establish the story and characters. The second half, however, is fast-paced and action-packed, making up for the first half's shortcomings.

Overall, Toxic Zombies is a guilty pleasure for fans of 80s horror movies. It's not a classic, but it's an entertaining way to spend an hour and a half. It's certainly not for the faint-hearted, but for those who enjoy their horror movies bloody and violent, it's definitely worth a watch.
