Tons of Trouble, which also has the alternate title Malaika, is a children's movie that tells the tale of a wayward elephant. One day, the elephant shows up in the California backyard of Hannah Richardson, a widow with four young children. Since Hannah has a large property, she lets the elephant stay. It turns out the elephant was fleeing from nearby land where the owner allows big game hunting. Hannah and her kids try to hide the elephant on their large property until arrangements can be made to send it back to Africa.
