There Was an Old Couple is a drama film that was released in 1965. The film is about an old veterinary assistant that is residing in Grinia, a small town in Ukraine. The vet assistant is married to a woman named Natalia. He likes to refer to Natalia as the old woman. His home is destroyed by a fire, so he and Natalia decide to move to Siberia and move in with their daughter Nina. However, by moving in with Natalia and the man she is living with, the couple will be forced to encounter and deal with a large amount of drama.
