Watch The Trap

Also known as "Klopka," the 2007 Serbian film "The Trap" explores what two parents will go through to save their 8-year-old son in post-Milosevic Serbia. Construction engineer Miladen and his wife Marija lead a seemingly normal life with their son until they find out he is suffering from a rare heart problem. When they cannot pay for the costly operation, a mysterious man challenges him in how far they are willing to go to save their son. The film was based off of writer Nenad Teofilovic's novel "The Trap."
