Watch The Thief

In post world war II Soviet Union a struggling widow named Katya is raising her son Sanya alone. As the two are riding the train they meet and are charmed by a rakish officer named Tolyan. Tolyan, Katya, and Sanya live as a family soon after they first meet. Sanya feels resentment and anger towards his new father figure and Katya is having a difficult time adjusting caring for a significant other. Katya and Sanya start to notice that Tolyan has violent outbursts, but neither want to leave. Now they must all find a way to live together in harmony.
