The Red Shoes is a fantastical tale of young girls Lisa and Jenny, who happens to be best friends. They live in the same neighborhood, love to play together and especially love to dance together. When Lisa’s family is struck with tragedy and then a big streak of luck, she begins to distance herself from Jenny. Engulfed in a world of superficial and greedy tendencies, Lisa finds herself immersing in mischievous behavior. Thanks to a pair of red slippers and her love of dancing, Lisa soon finds herself on a journey that leads her toward the most meaningful things in life, including friendship.
